Contract:

We currently wish to recruit Site Engineers for various works in England. To provide an effective and efficient site engineering role

Role Overview – To provide an effective and efficient site engineering role

What you’ll do – The following reflect the main tasks associated with your position and are not intended to be exclusive or exhaustive:

· Compliance with Health & Safety Regulations ensuring that all issues of Health & Safety are monitored regularly, and accurate records maintained
· Ensure efficient programme of works
· Responsibility for measurements and valuations
· Assume responsibility for setting out / dimensional control
· Ensure effective organisation of sections of work
· Maintain daily/weekly contact with Site Agent
· Assume responsibility for decision making in conjunction with Site Agent
· External contact with clients’ representatives
· External contact with sub-contractors
· Deputise for Site Agent if required
· Any other reasonable duties as required

 

About You;

· Third level qualification in Civil Engineering or a related discipline
· Ability to successfully implement, maintain and ensure compliance of Health & Safety legislation
· Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbally
· Commercially aware of economies and efficiencies
· Fully flexible regarding travel, prepared to travel to site locations within the UK
· Ability to read and understand Construction drawings and Specification
· IT literate in all Microsoft Office applications

 

Desirable;

· Relevant Piling / Highways / Rail or heavy Civil engineering experience (2+ years)
· Ability to Manage/Control on site setting out
· CSR/CSCS Qualification or equivalent
· Experience of using AutoCAD or other equivalent software
· Full valid driving licence
