Engineers Ireland Week 2026

6th March 2026

As part of Engineers Ireland’s Engineers Week 2026, we were delighted to welcome students from Fort Hill Integrated College to our Northern Ireland Water Mill Road West CSO project for a site visit organised with WOMEN’STEC.

A big thank you to James Carinduff, Sinead Kelly and the team for hosting the visit and giving students a valuable insight into a live infrastructure project. It was fantastic to see the group engaging with the works on site, learning about the engineering involved and exploring the many career opportunities within the industry.

Running from Saturday 28 February to Friday 6 March, Engineers Week celebrates engineering across Ireland and aims to inspire the next generation through hands-on activities and educational events.

WOMEN’STEC plays a vital role in supporting women and girls to access training and build careers in construction, engineering and technology, helping to open pathways into industries where women have traditionally been underrepresented.

It was great to see such enthusiasm from the students and to play a small part in showcasing the exciting opportunities that engineering can offer.
